You know for years I have said that these so called antibacterial agents are causing more harm than good. For most parts what they do, is kill pretty well all bacterial good and bad. Think about this. Bacteria on ones hands, say good bacterial will not allow bad bacteria to survive in its territory. So if you have good bacterial on your skin and say you were out shopping and came upon a bad strain, it wouldn’t harm you. So thinking on this I came up with a plan. If you have a garden with good soil and I mean, good soil, why not just swish your hands around in good old Mother Earth. Doing that will bring forth good bacteria, which if done on a regular basis will allow it colonize on your skin, which in turn, will then help you fight off any bad bacteria that might come your way throughout the day, months or maybe even years to come. I have been doing some experimenting with good healthy soil now, for over ten years and have found, it in itself has amazing healing capabilities when applied to the skin and wouldn’t hesitate to use it for all kinds of skin related problems, or for that matter what lies underneath the skin. Remember this folks, we all come from the earth, we need it to survive as we need the sun. So why not use what has been given to us free of charge. In getting close to Nature one would soon find that most of all these so called medicines and drugs of today are not, really needed at all. So how is everyone doing this morning/ Good I hope. Today we will see lots of sunshine. High 66F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight will be partly cloudy early with increasing clouds overnight. Low 47F. Winds light and variable. The barometer has been rising through the night and at the moment sitting at 29:12 in Hg. The moon will rise at 4:37 PM
& set at 2:42 AM. Moon Phase today is 
80% Waxing Gibbous. The sun showed herself at 5:32 AM & will set at 9:01 PM; giving us here in Port Loring; 15 hrs. 29 mins. of daylight. If your up to doing some fishing the old weather stick says the best times to be out there will be from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Then again from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM.
News For Port Loring
A bit cooler this morning but sun will warm things up some once she gets to doing her job in fullness. Like us humans, takes a bit to get going some mornings. Bug report; Black Flies, Mosquitoes and Horse Flies aren’t to bad with weather being the way it is, but they will be back once it warms up some. Only a couple more weeks of dealing with the Black Flies. Mike at Mikes Marina is busy these days, getting all his customers looked after. Great fellow and does a lot for our community behind the scenes too. If your in need for some repair work on your boat motors, snowmobiles, lawn mowers or what ever, ATV, this is the fellow to see. Good morning. Well had a bit of rain last night which was needed badly. Things have grown about two inches or more overnight. Happy to see that. Today will be windy with a mix of clouds and sun. High 73F. Winds SW at 15 to 25 mph. Tonight we will see some clouds. Low 49F. Winds WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Barometer is holding steady at 28.76 in Hg. The moon will rise at 2:08 PM and then set at 1:47 AM. Moon Phase today is 
59% Waxing Gibbous. The sun rose this morning at; 5:33 AM and will set at 8:59 PM; giving us here in Port Loring; 15 hrs. 26 mins. of daylight. The old weather stick sys the best times to be out there fishing today will be from; 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Then again from 2:00PM – 4:00 PM.
News For Port Loring
Bug Report; Mosquitoes and Black Flies are out in full force and horse flies are now added to the list. Good thing though, is the Dragon Flies are out there now also and when they get to eating, they clean a lot of them up, not forgetting the bats and birds. I always figure when them dragon flies start, the black flies days are numbered. They are nice to watch also and very friendly to us humans. So don’t be thinking they will harm you. Enjoy your day my friends and get some sunshine on that skin of yours. Oh below is a couple pictures of what our day looked like while out fishing the other day. Pretty rough life huh??
