Weather, News & Fishing Times For Port Loring

Good morning.  Well weather wise we will see some spotty showers this afternoon, with a high of 72°f and a low tonight of  54°f.  Barometer is holding steady at 29.15 in Hg.  Winds are from south west and calm this morning.   The moon will rise at 4:27 PM and set at 3:45 AM.  Moon Phase today is Solunar Table Moon Phase is 83% percent waxing gibbous  83%  Waxing  Gibbous. The sun rose before I did at 6:03 AM & will set at 8:28 PM, giving us here in Port Loring, 14 hrs. 25 mins. of daylight.  Checked the old weather stick, did a bit of calculating and she says the best time to be out there fishing today will be from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM and then again from 4:30 PM till 5:30 PM.  I give it a one fish rating out of four, so in other words an average day.  But one just never knows.  Black Flies and others aren’t buggin’ anyone yet.

Great looking day here today.  Up into the seventies what more could one ask for.  Will get the old shirt off for a bit and soak up some of that sunshine.  Also got some shop work planned for the day and will do some gardening work too.  Why?  Well….                      “Just Because I Can.”   Have a great day, enjoy it and laugh a little, good for the old constitution.

Good morning.  Well today we will see decreasing clouds with a high of 62°f. Then later on tonight it will drop to a Lo 49°f.  So not to bad temperature wise.  Today is damp and cool so far.  Winds are from the West and calm. Barometer is holding steady at 29.12 in Hg.  No bugs buggin” folks yet around town.  The moon will rise at 3:13 PM and set at  3:18 AM.  Moon Phase today is; Solunar Table Moon Phase is 74% percent waxing gibbous  74% Waxing Gibbous.  The sun rose at 6:05 AM

and will set at 8:27 PM, giving us here in Port Loring, 14 hrs. 22 mins. of daylight.  First day of May so fishing times are back on track for the upcoming year.  Dug out the old weather stick, dusted it off and put it back on the wall outside and it says…..fishing will be best from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM.  Then again from 3:00 PM till 4:00 PM.  Hope you all have a great year and catch your limit every day. Not much to report here this morning.  Just headin’ out to the old shop to see what comes my way.  Still burning firewood though, so that should tell you how warm it is. But that will change as of tomorrow, when the winds swing around to the south bringing in some of that southern air.  Have a great day my friends.

So how’s every one doing on this lovely Sunday morning.  Some sleeping in I suspect and some enjoying a cup of your favorite maybe.  Today will be mostly sunny and cool 52°f with a Lo 26°f tonight.  I would say after tomorrow things will be up into the sixties for a change.  Barometer is 29.41 in Hg.  and rising slowly.  Good sign.  Winds are from the North West and calm.  The moon will rise at 12:52 PM and set at  2:21 AM.  Moon Phase today is; Solunar Table Moon Phase is 50% percent first quarter 50% First Quarter. The sun got out of bed at 6:08 AM and set at 8:24 PM, giving us here in Port Loring, 14 hrs. 16 mins. of daylight.

Good morning. Well not a bad looking day.  Little cool with temperatures at the moment hovering around 29°f.  Today it will be partly sunny and chilly with a high of 48°f.  Later on tonight we will see a  Lo 22°f.    Barometer is holding steady and has been all night.  It is sitting at the moment at 29.44 in Hg.  Winds are from the North East coming in around 4 MPH.  Winds will change to the South in the next day or so bringing in some warmer weather, which is OK by me.  The moon will rise at  11:46 AM and set at :49 AM.  Moon Phase today is Solunar Table Moon Phase is 42% percent waxing crescent  42%  Waxing  Crescent.  The sun rose showing off this morning at  6:09 AM and will set at 8:23 PM, giving us here in Port Loring, 14 hrs. 14 mins. of daylight.

 So how you all doing for a Friday Morning?  Good I hope. Today will be cold with clouds  and some sunshine.  Temperatures will reach if we are lucky to 37°f and then later on tonight it will drop to a Lo 18°f.  So pretty cool for this time of year.  Barometer is rising, a good sign and at the moment sitting at 29.18 in Hg.  Winds are from the  North East again, coming in at around 5 MPH with gusts a bit higher.  The moon will rise at 0:43 AM and set at 1:13 AM.  Moon Phase today is Solunar Table Moon Phase is 33% percent waxing crescent  33%  Waxing Crescent.  The sun rose this morning at 6:11 AM & will set at 8:22 PM, giving us here in Port Loring, 14 hrs. 11 mins. of daylight.
