Ford & Volkswagen Cars Not Allowed In Canada & USA. Interesting !!

Did you know that Ford and Volkswagen are making cars right here in our country that gets you over 70 MPG, but not allowed to sell them here in our country. They are sold though in the UK and folks just love them. Amazing isn’t it. Here we are in Canada and the USA making these cars but can’t buy them. Why is this? Simple, as if they put these cars on the road here in Canada and the USA, they would loose billions of dollars, as folks wouldn’t use all that gas. Take a look at this video. when you get a second. Pass it on too. Take the blinders off folks.

Good morning. Today will be pleasant and warmer 80°f. Tonight it will go down for a Lo 58°f. Really nice weather for sure. The barometer is holding steady at 29.26 in Hg. Winds are from the South and calm. The moon will rise at 4:47 AM and set at

7:51 PM. Moon Phase is 2% Waning Crescent. The sun rose showing off this morning at 5:42 AM and will set at 8:49 PM, giving us here in Port Loring, 15 hrs. 07 mins. of daylight. For those just itchin to get out there fishing this is the weekend to do so and the best time to be out there will be from 1:03 PM – 3:03 PM.

Other News. Black flies are out there in full force but not as bad as last year. So far anyways. Them blood sucking parasites the Mosquitoes are just starting and will be enjoying a few meals on us humans very shortly,increasing their activities as the weather warms up. Which is today by the way. For those on the highways today please take care as we here in Port Loring would like to see you all arrive safe and sound. So how’s everyone doing this morning? Today it will be mostly sunny and warmer 60°f. Tonight it will go down for a Lo 43°f. Not to bad. Good day for some outside work. Barometer is rising and has been all night and at the moment sitting at 29.28 in Hg. Winds are from the west at around 3 MPH. The moon will rise at 3:51 AM and set at 5:50 PM. Moon Phase today is 10% Waning Crescent.. The sun rose this morning at 5:44 AM and will set at 8:47 PM, giving us here in Port Loring 15 hrs. 03 mins. of daylight. The old weather stick says the best time to be out there fishing today will be from, 10:54 AM – 12:50 PM. Then again from 4:50 PM – 5:50 PM.

Nothing much to report. Mowing day here for us at the Walters house, so will get that out of the way this morning. Sure looks pretty when all said and done. This year wife and I planted all the seeds we collected from last year and we got a regular little nursery going in the back porch, so all our veggies will be free this year. Once I get to planting them that is. Which should be first of next week. Long range forecast looks good temperature wise. Well tea time here, always start my day with a talka tea with my lovely wife, then we just let the day happen. What comes upon us through out the day…is what is suppose to happen. Good morning. Well today is a bit cooler and we might have a brief shower., Temperatures will reach a high of 57°f today and then tonight drop to a Lo 38°f. It will start to warm back up come tomorrow morning and be nice for the weekend. The moon will rise at 3:27 AM and then set at 4:49 PM. Moon Phase today is 16%

Name released in fatal collision

ARNSTEIN— A 67-year-old was killed Monday around 1 p.m. when her vehicle veered off Highway 522 at Seagull Lake Road and went into the ditch, according to Ontario Provincial Police. The collision caused the vehicle to flip. According to police, it’s suspected the driver may have been in medical distress at the time of the incident. The driver was identified as Arina Howes of Loring. A post mortem will be conducted later today. Members of the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigations and Forensic Identifications Units are continuing their investigation.

Black flies are with us and will be until Fathers Day. if you take the proper precautions you will be just fine. Weather will start to warm up tomorrow and looks like a great weekend to get that veggie garden planted. That is my plan for this weekend. For those on the drive up take extra care my friends as you might be a great driver but there is a lot that isn’t. Have a great day and get some sunshine.

Home Made Toothpaste.

This is a great,toothpaste with out all the chemicals that most commercial kinds have. My wife and I have been using it for years with great success.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon sea salt, finely ground
2 drops of peppermint, spearmint, orange, clove, or cinnamon.
A touch of good spring water or well water without the chemicals is best.

You can also add a touch of coconut oil if you so desire.

Combine ingredients in a small bowl and mix them thoroughly with a toothbrush, your finger, or a small spoon until a smooth, thick paste forms. The paste shouldn’t be too runny; it has to stay on your toothbrush.

Dip your toothbrush into the paste and use as you would regular commercial toothpaste.
